Jean Street lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick and is a Fibre Artist.
She has been associated with Rotary for 20 years through her husband Mike and has been a Rotarian for 18 months. Jean is the International Director on the Board of the Fredericton Rotary Sunrise Club and is being sponsored by the club as GSE Team Leader. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow.
Jean is a proud grandmother with 4 grandsons and participates in the group Grandmothers Helping Grandmothers in Africa with Aids, with a focus on Lesotho and South Africa.
Jean likes to watch sports, especially tennis. She keeps busy with Rotary and her committees, international being her passion and helping others less fortunate.
Church and family are of prime importance in her life and with her 4 grandsons traveling is very big on the agenda. Visiting new far away places and experiences also rates very high for her. An elephant ride in both Rajastan and Phuket were highly prized experiences.
She also enjoys music, and yoga. If this were not enough, quilting and fibre arts take up any spare time. Life is very busy!
